We were warned about the little town hidden in a tree inside the Forgotten Woods. We were told never to go there- not even to pass through.

"Avoid the graying trees that sit in a circle in the middle of a patch of dead grass... There are no shadows, but there are doors- doors that lead to other worlds. Some are wondrous, bright, and beautiful... Others were born straight from nightmares. The trees decide which path you will take. Pray that if you ever do come across these doors that you never, ever awaken the tree with a pumpkin carved into its trunk."

These were some of the last words of my friend's grandfather before he passed away... I just wish we had listened to him. I wish we took the warning seriously and not considered it a "fun adventure". It wasn't as if... we thought the old tales were true.

We found the circle of trees. My friends and I fell past the doors- one each to a different tree... With my luck, of course it was the pumpkin that swallowed me up. Ever since I've been waiting for help... but it never came. I heard rumors of my friends and how wonderful their lives became once they were taken by the trees, but did they ever think of me? Apparently not... They forgot me. To live happily ever after.

And what do I have? Only a red, hot rage to keep me sustained... For the day I escape and find them both.

They better fucking hope I never get out.
